Spiritual Winds of Change
December 8th, 2007 by John Wolfe
Today’s entry pertains to the evolution of the life experience as it relates to a process most of us detest: change. In writing an article like this, I usually hesitate to use the word growth. It has a tendency to indicate we are less than worthy if we aren’t purposely trying to achieve a form of self development. I believe there’s nothing wrong with not becoming more intentionally aware of our origins or anything else for that matter, if that’s what someone chooses. In the context of this post though, I would like to speak on the subject of growth via the inevitable factor of change.
The fact we are conscious and focused in this Universe means we are always in a perpetual state of growth and I don’t just mean because of the aging process. While the main stream idea of personal growth is usually associated with an intentional undertaking, brought on consciously by the individual; the truth is we are ever growing and expanding entities as long as we have the ability to focus our consciousness. It can’t be avoided.
The constant motion of life and its phases see to that. This may not be textbook, life-coaching, personal development, but it is a form of natural development at the deepest level of our being. The willingness of our energy to move forth time and again to experience life in this plane of existence is one of the largest steps we continue to take toward inner growth.
Some people may disagree with that last statement because they feel reincarnation is a cycle which is meant to be broken. I don’t look at it that way, but I’ll save that for another post.
Once in this environment, change is the catalyst for further growth; without it nothing would ever move or evolve. It’s built into this “system” and will always allow for the continued expansion of all things, including the process that most feel is the end game for all growth- the act of dying. The death transition serves as the method of change for growing beyond this environment and moving into another.
Change is what’s responsible for helping us to make determinations about our life experiences. It gives us a perspective about whether or not we want to continue down the current path we’re on. Because the opportunity for change always exists, we know we have options available to us if we are willing to open ourselves up to them.
Change isn’t a part of our reality because we are supposed to learn lessons and be good little humans. It’s here to facilitate the momentum that propels us deeper into the experience. It’s up to us if we wish to continue repeating similar types of experiences or associating with the same types of people.
Without the momentum of change, physical life would cease to be worth pursuing because all natural progression would halt. Without progression we would have no ability to have continually expanding experiences, which is the reason we are here anyway.
Now, let’s take this concept of change and apply it towards someone who has been intentionally pursuing the metaphysical, investigating the source of their origins, and working with the ideas of being a deliberate creator. As this person continues down this path, they will notice drastic changes within their thought processes and how they relate to the rest of the world. This is in conjunction with the natural change, which is always occurring within their life experience, yet extremely amplified due to the new concepts and revelations they are exploring.
It’s quite possible for this person to change dramatically in a short period of time. When we work alongside the natural aspects of change it’s extremely likely to see quantum leap like development in our mindset as well as in what we are living. This is similar to the idea of going with the flow of where our life has taken us instead of trying to fight it every step of the way.
The majority of our culture does their best to resist change. They abhor it. They do everything in their power to prevent it from occurring, yet it still finds a way. We have to make peace with the idea of its inevitability. However, that doesn’t mean we relinquish our dreams and desires in the process. It helps to remember the only reason our dreams can come true in the first place is because of change and the progression it brings forth.
Welcome change. Invite it into your life in a relaxed manner, as you work with the power of your creative abilities you will be amazed at how much faster manifestations become apparent.
