I have heard frequently of interactions between two or more physical humans (utilizing the out of body state) while on the astral plane. I’ve also heard of interactions between physical humans in a projected state and the energy of those that have passed on. Personally, I have witnessed other entities during my projections – some having very physical looking features, while others resemble shadows. However, I’ve yet to have anyone or thing touch me. But, I did have a very bizarre experience in which I felt my own physical breath in my astral body’s “ear.” This occurred as I was hovering just above my physical body. It was very strange, but very cool.

I can’t say for certain how a hand was able to grab UP, but from my astral experiences there doesn’t appear to be any limitation to many of the environments and circumstances encountered. Reality, in that state, is very malleable and not as solid and “law” abiding, in terms of physics, as this physical version of reality.

Though you don’t sound scared by this experience, I want to reassure you that these types of interactions appear to be extremely benign. In fact, some people tend to feel as if “someone” is always providing a helping hand to nudge them along during all of their projection experiences. Many believe these gentle touches or nudges are actually coming from their higher-self or their guides.

As the hand grabbed at your foot, did you feel limited or restrained at all?
